Glitter Path on Ice
Glitter paths can occur on any reflecting surface. In this case the uneven ice surface reflects the light to the eye fo the beholder. The elongated and slightly elliptical shape is due to the relatively low sun. With the sun closer to the zenith, the light patch turns circular.
The image was deliberately underexposed and processed and brightened with Photoshop CS5.
